Adopt- A- Box!

As I am writing this blog post there is LESS THAN 6 MONTHS LEFT before we head out for The World Race on January 1, 2021!! I can’t believe that it is so close and will be here before I know it!

The last month or so I haven’t been actively fundraising. It’s no surprise that our country has been hit hard this year from a snowball effect of so many things. COVID-19 continues to ravage through our country while we have also become more aware to the Racial Injustices that plague our society on a daily basis. On top of these things, everyone has their own personal challenges in day to day life that can add more weight to someones heart. Because of these things, fundraising stopped being on the forefront of my mind. In this time off, I’ve never felt worried. Anyone who knows me knows I am a big planner so to say I haven’t been worried about this is not my norm. I can only credit this sense of Peace to God. I truly do believe that he has called me to this journey so I know he will make a way for it to happen. 

I am ready and encouraged to start fundraising again! I have been overwhelmed with the amount of support I’ve received in so many different ways. The continued prayers, encouragement and financial support I’ve received continues to humble me everyday.

So with that, here’s a little about my NEW FUNDRAISER! ADOPT-A-BOX! 

The numbered grid below is filled with different numbers that represent dollar amounts. If you choose to adopt one or multiple boxes that means you are pledging to donating that amount to my trip. So for example: if you Adopt Box 22 you donate $22. You’ll notice that some boxes have different colored numbers… these boxes are a bit different. 

• The GOLD numbered boxes on the right represent MONTHLY PLEDGES. If you choose to adopt one of these boxes that means you are pledging to donate that amount once a month until I leave for the Race. 
• The BLUE numbered boxes have something small that comes with them as I am on the race. (35- a postcard from every country, 75-a handwritten letter update from each country) 
• BLUE Numbered Boxes on the bottom row are GREAT for small groups of people to team up and try to donate the full amount. If you are reading this and know Falon Neske, Kyle Weatherbie (Crocs), or Elise Daigle you should consider donating to these boxes specifically. They have each graciously agreed to get pied in the face FIVE TIMES if their boxes get adopted!! 
• $5,000 BOX! This box is a HUGE ONE for a HUGE REASON! A friend from my church agreed, without asking any questions, to wax his legs if this box got adopted. If you’re reading this and know Max Freitas from Aletheia you know how interesting this will be to see. (THANK YOU MAXWELL!) 

SO! If you want to adopt a box, HERES HOW TO DO IT! 

1. Comment on this post, text, or message me on Instagram/Facebook to check if the box you want to donate is still available.
2. If it is available you can donate that amount DIRECTLY at the “DONATE” link above this post (this means your donation will be tax deductible) or you can venmo me at Curiegas.
