One definition for the word Vault is, “A secure room in a bank in which VALUABLES are stored”. As we are getting to the halfway point on our race I’ve come to have a long list of potential blogs. All hold a SPECIAL story that I will keep close to my heart and would love to share with others some day. So if a blog isn’t in real time they are probably coming from the Valut and I’ve been dying to share!
A month or two ago I wrote a blog called “Four things that led to a FRESH Outpouring”. In it I described a series of events that happened and I want to share MORE!

One night I got to catch up with a mentor from the US. The biggest thing I wanted to share was that For weeks I felt a growing desire in my heart to be filled more with the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that Jesus would send a helper in the Holy Spirit. (John 15:26-16:15) This spirit helps me discern between doing what my flesh wants and doing what I feel God calling me to do. As my squad mentor Kylee reminded me one day, “It means I have options”.
In the Bible we learn about miraculous healings done by Jesus. Lepers being cleansed, paralytic people walking, blind people being able to see and so much more! Id seen videos of healings before but never experienced them for myself. At the beginning of this year we as a squad experienced it when a couple of us prayed over hurt backs and clogged ears after flying and our friends were HEALED!
(You can check out one of their testimonies HERE )
I slowly started to believe that I could pray over someone and the Holy Spirit inside me would bring healing but doubt was still there… until this night.
After pouring my heart out to my mentor she asked if I wanted to pray to receive a fresh anointing from Holy Spirit. Without hesitation I said yes and we proceeded to pray for the next 25minutes. What I didn’t tell her was that I’d hurt my leg on two hikes a week before. My right shin felt bruised, my knee had a sharp pain in it every time I stepped and there was a grinding in my shin any time I flexed my foot. (The night before this some friends and I had already decided it wasn’t good and may need an X-ray to figure out if it was a stress fracture) As she’s praying something in me said to start moving my foot.. to my surprise it wasn’t as painful. We continued to pray and every couple of minutes I was flexing my foot and bending my knee to see where my pain level was at. When we finished praying my mentor asked, “Well, how do you feel?” I explained to her the physical pain I’d been having and how throughout our prayer it was lessening. She shared that that was a mark of Holy Spirit filling me up and declared, in Jesus name, that the next morning Id wake up and be FULLY HEALED!
So.. what happened next?
I woke up in the morning and the second my eyes opened I thought, “my leg!” I jumped out of my bunk, walked around, bended my knee, flexed my foot and felt NO. PAIN. For the rest of the day my knee was significantly better. IF any twinge of pain came back I immediately prayed against it. I can say now that the pain hasn’t come back for months! I can also say that I’ve seen multiple more healings since this one and even praying healing over myself has brought relief.
I’m still learning so much and know that I will continue to. What I’m sure of after this experience is that:
Prayer is POWERFUL.
Healing is REAL.
The Holy Spirit LIVES WITHIN ME.
